Individuals who have many well-developed character qualities are most likely to establish lasting marriages. The process of character development begins in childhood and continues throughout life. One of the primary purposes of marriage is ongoing character development, because spouses can encourage and help one another with this process.

New models of dating and courting that are more family inclusive, spiritually-based, and that include the gift of chastity will lead to stronger marriages and families. Parents have a responsibility to get to know prospective family members very well, assist their children to establish lasting marriages, welcome new family members, and build unity with them.

Marriage can be a union of the bodies, mind, hearts, and the souls of the two people. When this union produces a loving and profound friendship of spirit between the couple, the soulmate connection between the couple may last beyond their physical death. Couples can draw closer together and strengthen their relationships and marriages when they both turn to God for guidance and follow spiritual principles in their lives.

A happy marriage between the parents of children is the greatest gift that the couple gives to the children. For this reason, the marriage is the first priority and the children second.

Origin of The Marriage Transformation Project:
Marriage Transformation LLC began in 2004 as a project led by Susanne M. Alexander and her husband Craig A. Farnsworth. Craig's soul went on to the next stage of life in July 2009 after a 2-year journey with brain cancer. Susanne is carrying on their work.
